The ELCA is a community of faith that shares a passion for making positive changes in the world. Our faith is built around a strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives.

Our Vision

Our vision or our cause is to transform lives and give hope by breaking the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and addiction.  Our goal is to transform lives by proclaiming Christ, bridging service gaps, creating networks, and building community through a relational approach.  We envision a place where ministries, community agencies, non-profits, and churches can come together.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple. Simon Kenton Bridges of Hope is a faith-based, Christ-centered, non-profit organization dedicated to serving persons experiencing homelessness, poverty, and consequences of addictive behaviors.  Bridges of Hope will address the needs of such persons by providing access to life-building and life-sustaining services, either through direct benevolence or in collaboration with private agencies, ministerial entities, and/or government agencies.

Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers in Ohio

About The Recovery Village Columbus

A trusted name in addiction rehab, The Recovery Village's first Ohio rehabilitation center offers a complete range of treatment options for adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. The Recovery Village Columbus uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat substance use disorders alongside mental health issues for long-term success. A dedicated staff of experts works to create personalized treatment plans that may include medical detox, inpatient care, partial hospitalization, outpatient care and aftercare planning.

A true healing community, the village encourages connections with support groups and continuous treatment. Because therapy is often a communal experience, many form lifelong friendships with others recovering from substance use disorder. With results-based programs and tested methods, The Recovery Village offers one of the nation's leading comprehensive treatment programs, right in the heart of Ohio.

XAAC&M's Mission is Two Fold:

1) To discern and partner with the strengths, diversity and unique contributions of all Xenia area local churches, para-church ministries and church ministries in order to accomplish in a unified manner what could not be accomplished as effectively alone.

2) To provide an inter-church agency for cooperation in worship, religious education, evangelism, and community welfare.

Reach out and help to meet the needs of neighbors, both physically and spiritually.

Serve our neighbors, the privileged and under-privileged, by giving a hand up and not a hand out.

Provide healthy, affordable meals in a warm and welcoming environment.

Eliminate hunger, build relationships, and celebrate community with our neighbors.
