Virtual Ministry is the outreach platform for First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Xenia, Ohio during the Coronavirus Pandemic  We are a body of believers from all walks of life living in many locations throughout the world.  This online Ministry supports the body of Christ and other ministries as a ready resource for the purpose of encouraging the Christian Saints of God to engage in practical and actionable doctrine for living the Christian life whether in a “regular church” or not. We encourage our visitors and members to be a part of a “brick and mortar” church however we also realize that for various reasons this may not be possible.  So we endeavor to serve Christ in modern times by providing this resource so no Saint is left behind.

We are a community of Christian faith that has been located and serving in the City of Xenia for over 175 years. Maybe you are visiting our website to get the latest information on worship times, to see our calendar of events, to listen to the weekly sermons, or to view the activities and ministries of our church. Perhaps you came here because you are seeking a place of peace and hope amidst a broken and troubled world. We believe that our only true hope for the future comes from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through whose life, death, and resurrection we have been reconciled to God. Regardless of why you are here, we invite you to be a part of our faith community, to worship with us, and to join in the fellowship that is First Lutheran.

Holy Communion is the Sacrament of the Real Presence of our Lord Jesus Christ

The true blood and body of Christ is present together with the bread and the wine.  (For those who desire, grape juice is available)
